Lani B. Durio received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Louisiana State University in 2002, with a concentration in graphic design and a minor in art history. Lani also earned her master’s degree in art history from LSU, during which time she was awarded a Graduate Assistantship, submitted a thesis entitled “The Yes Men and Activism in the Information Age,” and presented a paper on avant-garde design and corporate assimilation at the 2004 Miami University Interactive Media Forum in Oxford, Ohio.

Lani earned her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2008. While in law school, she acted as Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief of The Civilian. She is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and Forum 35.
